A system based on neural networks for reading text printed with a laser engraver

The project was implemented using a Cognex D900 series vision system. By using the appropriate color of homogeneous lighting (dome illuminator), it was possible to obtain such a contrast that ensures extremely stable inspection. The text is transferred to the PLC controller, which checks the correctness of the read data.
